Concert in one of the most beautiful wooden churches! / Koncert w jednym z najpiękniejszych kościółków drewnianych!

The Parish Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Binarowa is one of the most beautiful sites on the Malopolska Wooden Architecture Route. In this astonishing place the Perfugium choir performed on the 21^st July.

Kościół pw.św. Michała Archanioła w Binarowej to jeden z najpiękniejszych obiektów na Szlaku Architektury Drewnianej w Małopolsce. W tym niezwykłym miejscu 21 lipca odbył się koncert chóru Perfugium, który wykonał program "Alfa i Omega. Rok liturgiczny w pieśniach tradycyjnych". Mieliśmy okazję posłuchać kilkanaście wyjątkowych pieśni liturgicznych w znakomitych aranżacjach zespołu.
 

This weekend - concerts in Binarowa and Blizno! / Koncertowy weekend w Binarowej i Bliźnie!

This weekend Camper Malopolski is inviting to “Music in Magic Wood” summer concerts, which take place in the wooden architecture UNESCO sites.

The first concert is on Saturday in Blizno (Podkarpackie region). The performance will be in the All Saints' Parish Church. It starts at 4 PM. In this charming place the Duo Sonore will perform: Ilona Nieciąg and Krzysztof Leksycki. 

The second concerts is on Sunday in Binarowa (Malopolska region) at 6 PM. In this magnificent sacral wooden architecture piece of art – the Parish Church of St.Michael the Archangel, the Perfugium band will perform.

Revel at Bartnik – an exceptional apiarian event! / Biesiada u Bartnika – wspaniała pszczelarska impreza!

Have you ever heard about „Biesiada u Bartnika” (revel at Bartnik)? It is an exceptional event that takes place in the Beekeeping Museum and Heritage Park in Stroze, nearby Grybow!

Every year at the beginning of July thousands of tourists are coming to Stroze. They attend to conferences during which prominent specialists, professors, famous scientists share their knowledge. This year festival’s motto was “Let’s help the bees, so they will help us”. During the conference visitors could learn about incredible qualities of honey and honey-made cosmetics. There was a painting setting set up as well as the photographic contest. “Biesiada u Bartnika” for many is an synonym of good fun, joy and honey goodies. 

July dawned! / Nastał lipiec!

The year 2013 is an exceptional year for the Wooden Architecture Route. It is the 10^th anniversary of wooden churches’ inscription on the World Heritage List! On this prestigious list can be found: four Malopolska’s treasures – church in Binarowa, Debno Podhalanskie, Lipnica Murowana and Sekowa, and two Podkarpackie region churches – in Haczów and Blizne. Additionally, in June 2013 the 8 Greek Catholic Parish Churches were inscribed on the UNESCO list: 4 in Podkarpackie region: Radruż, Chotyniec, Smolnik, Turzańsk, and 4 in Malopolska region: Powroznik, Owczary, Kwiaton, Brunary Wyzne.

In Haarlem and Zandvoort // W Haarlem i Zandvoort

Two cities of western Holland: Haarlem and Zandvoort – were our goal today! The first –  Haarlem is beautiful city, full of historic houses, Grote Sint Bavokerk and De Hallen gallery. The second – Zandvoort, is one of the most known lido in this part of the country.

Not only Dutch but also Germans, who are passing here their holidays, were visiting our stand numerously. They were given promotional materials and were asking many questions about Malopolska region. The stand's visitors were given local candies “krówka” for tasting, which they really enjoyed. We have to mention here Red Corals necklaces also given as presents to the visitors. They looked so red and so tasty - resembling beautiful red cherries - that some people even wanted to eat them ;).

Some of them already knew Krakow, the others have not discovered the beauty of the capital of our region yet. Moreover, both of them were gazing in promotional materials full of beautiful photographs and comprehensive descriptions of Malopolska’s attractions. The biggest attention gained the “UNESCO Route” which consists not only of magical Krakow, but also salt mine in Wieliczka, Kalwaria Zebrzydowska (the Mannerist Architectural and Park Landscape Complex and Pilgrimage Park), and four wooden churches, which can be found in little towns: Lipnica Murowana, Binarowa, Sękowa and Dębno.

Dwie miejscowości zachodniej Holandii: pierwsza - Haarlem, piękne miasto pełne zabytkowych kamieniczek z okazałym kościołem św. Bawona (Grote Sint Bavokerk) i Galerią De Hallen na rynku, oraz druga - Zandvoort, jedno z najbardziej znanych kąpielisk w tej części Holandii – były naszym dzisiejszym celem. To tutaj, do tych dwóch miast zawitał w poniedziałek Camper Małopolski!

Nie tylko Holendrzy, ale i Niemcy spędzający tu wakacje, podchodzili licznie do naszego stoiska. Brali materiały promocyjne i zadawali pytania o Małopolskę zachwycając się czerwonymi jak wiśnie koralami.  Dużym zainteresowaniem cieszyły się także nasze kochane "krówki".

Niektórzy z nich znali już dobrze Kraków, inni jeszcze nie odkryli uroków stolicy naszego regionu. I co najlepsze, zarówno ci pierwsi jak i drudzy wpatrywali się z pasją w sprezentowane im foldery promocyjne pełne pięknych zdjęć i obszernych opisów małopolskich atrakcji. Szczególną uwagę przyciągnęła "Trasa UNESCO", na której jest nie tylko magiczny Kraków, ale również kopalnia soli w Wieliczce, zespół pielgrzymkowy w Kalwarii Zebrzydowskiej oraz 4 drewniane kościółki, które można odnaleźć w Lipnicy Murowanej, Binarowej, Sękowej i Dębnie.
